Biblioway Return & Refund Policy
At Biblioway, we want you to love your purchase. However, because we deal with sensitive media (books and digital content), we have specific guidelines to ensure fairness for both the creator and the customer.
1. Return Windows by Product Type
-
Physical Books & DVDs: Must be returned within 14 days of delivery. Items must be in their original condition. DVDs must be unopened (shrink-wrap intact) to qualify for a refund.
-
Photos/Art Prints: Because these are easily scanned or damaged, returns are only accepted if the item arrives damaged during shipping.
-
Digital Books (E-books): Due to the nature of digital content, all digital sales are final once the download link has been accessed or sent.
2. Damaged or Defective Items
To protect against false damage claims, we require the following for any "Damaged in Transit" refund request:
-
Photo Evidence: You must email a photo of the damaged item and the packaging within 48 hours of receipt.
-
Verification: We reserve the right to inspect the item upon return. If the item is found to be in "as described" condition, a restocking fee may apply.
3. Return Shipping & Fees
-
Change of Mind: If you simply changed your mind, you are responsible for return shipping costs.
-
Restocking Fee: No restocking fee
4. Fair Play & "First Purchase" Protection
We believe in the "Benefit of the Doubt" for new members of our community:
-
New Customers: On your first purchase, we offer a more flexible return process to ensure you are happy with the Biblioway experience.
-
The "Fair Use" Clause: To protect our small business, we monitor return frequency. If a customer has a history of high return rates or making false damage claims, Biblioway reserves the right to:
-
Limit or deny future return requests.
-
Decline future service/orders from that account.
-
Require "Signature on Delivery" for all future shipments.
